But they feature tighter wraps, smaller bell diameters and adjustable finger hooks and hand rests. The resulting ease of handling and pleasant response serve to encourage and inspire young players and enables them to make smooth and rapid progress and to achieve good musical results in a short time. All Student and Single horn models come standard with a case and mouthpiece, but can be ordered without as well. Each model is a .468” bore and the young student models have an 11.417” outer bell rim diameter as opposed to the 12.205” outer bell rim diameter of the full sized single horns. Standard for these models are fixed bell, lacquered yellow brass, nickel silver inner and outer slides, water key on the lead pipe, adjustable pinky hook. The horns come standard with the 3B miniball linkage system, which is both quiet and efficient, and much less problematic for the young student (and band director). The 3700L is a tightly wrapped F-horn for the young beginner with an added flipper for comfort, and a gold brass lead pipe to resist corrosion. The 3702L is like the 3700L but keyed in Bb instead of F. The 700L is a full sized single F-horn with a gold brass lead pipe, mechanical linkage, and is also available complete in gold brass. The 704L is a full sized Bb horn with an A stopping valve. This model also includes a gold brass lead pipe, mechanical linkage, and can be ordered complete in gold brass as an option.
