For horn players interested in brass horns with a medium throat bell, the following 4 models may intrigue you. Each of these models provide the individual player with unique options beyond the classic Heritage Model horns. Also, the 6801PM A L offers the medium bell taper with the classic Heritage Model design. A number 1 at the end of a model number designates mechanical linkage, while a number 2 designates string linkage. The letter “L” designates lacquer, and the letter “A” designates detachable bell. 801 L
Design features are inline valves with a reversible exchange valve system.
The 801 L standard specs are as follows: 0.468” bore, 12.205” bell diameter, yellow brass, lacquer, gold brass lead pipe, adjustable thumb lever, adjustable finger hook, 3B mechanical linkage system.
Available options are: detachable bell, gold brass body, string mechanism (802 L)
G10A-L1
nDesign features inline valves with a reversible exchange valve system. The G10A-L1 standard specs are as follows: 0.468” bore, 12.204” medium detachable bell flare, yellow brass, clear lacquered in lightweight soft case. This is the closest that MHH horns comes to a more traditional “Geyer” wrap. The G10A-L2 is offered with traditional string linkages. Available options include an adjustable hand rest and an Amado style waterkey on the lead pipe.
6801 PM A L
Design features Kruspe-Horner valve configuration with a reversible exchange valve system.
The 6801 PM A L standard specs are as follows: 0.468” bore, 12.205” bell diameter, yellow brass body, lacquer, adjustable thumb lever, adjustable pinky hook, 3B mechanical linkage system, medium throated bell.
Available options are: fixed bell, gold brass body, string mechanism (6802PMAL)

DK121 L
Design features are inline valves with a reversible exchange valve system based on the Knopf tradition.
The DK121 L standard specs are as follows: 0.468” bore, 12.205” bell diameter, yellow brass, lacquer, gold brass lead pipe, adjustable thumb lever, adjustable finger hook, 3B mechanical linkage system.
Available options are: detachable bell, gold brass body, string mechanism (DK122 L)
C12 L
Design features 2 spilt single exchange valves that work in tandem, similar to the Cornford 28 or older Robert Piering model.
The C12 L standard specs are as follows: 0.468” bore, 12.205” bell diameter, yellow brass, lacquer, gold brass lead pipe, adjustable finger hook, string linkage system, and detachable bell.
