With a vision driven by integrity and high quality, Dietmar Dürk has risen to the top of an elite group of individuals that truly create a top shelf product.  The Dürk model D3, is an innovative instrument based on the platform of the Alexander 103.  The D3 offers better intonation, response, clarity, precision.  Soon after the D3 was born, plans for the D4 were finished (left) and after 2 years of planning, the D4 became the second model in the line of D-class instruments from Dietmar Dürk.  In 2007, DürkHorns released the new models D2 (single Bb horn).  In 2008, the D8 Kruspe model became available.  As of January 2010, the newest horn, the Model Q11 Triple Horn is in production.

Dietmar Dürk founded his company in 1987.  Previous to that, Mr. Dürk earned his Mastercraftsman Diploma while working at the Alexander factory in Mainz.  Mr. Dürk founded his music shop, and after roughly 10 years of service, decided to start his long-time dream of horn manufacture.

Today, the name DürkHorns is known by many as an established brand, recognized for quality, performance, and beauty.  Top professionals look to Mr. Dürk for their choice of instrument.  Soon, the D-class will have some new members to the family, as his rotary trumpets are nearly completed.
