Andrea Bacon is an avid music lover and is passionate about travel and education. She has been playing musical instruments, namely the violin and guitar, since the age of eight. She has performed with local orchestras in New York, Connecticut, and Germany. In addition, she has noteworthy experience in the field of finance and business.
Ms. Bacon has worked with IBM since 2001 under various positions. Currently, she is a financial coordinator for the company's IT services in the global distribution/strategic outsourcing department. Here, she coordinates all of IBM's contracts within the Americas Distribution Sector. She has maximized profits for the company, regularly over-achieves quarterly budgets, and has planned and forecasted more than $1 billion in revenue. Further, she manages all senior executive level reviews. She has worked for IBM as a career financial analyst and professional financial analyst as well, traveling to Germany for her position in the international executive briefing and education center.
Prior to her duties at IBM, Ms. Bacon performed an internship at Chase Manhattan Bank in London, England, where she created and implemented an internal balance score card priority analysis, managed an internal team responsible for developing e-commerce consulting, and researched, developed, and wrote benchmarks for mergers and acquisitions integration consulting.
Ms. Bacon graduated from Mount Saint Mary College, magna cum laude, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and administration with a concentration in finance. She was an Aquinas Scholar and Ralph Scholar for her commitment to education and her academic excellence.
